This project is led by Professor Liu Juyan from Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group.、Dr. Wang Zhimin, Chief Researcher at the Institute of Chinese Materia Medica, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, serves as the overall technical lead, collaborating with nationwide13home unit, gathered14Selected as the research subject is a classic formula with exceptional originality and development potential. Strictly adhering to the original prescription, dosage, and traditional preparation methods of the ancient formula, we prepared standardized decoctions. Through comprehensive quality, standardization, and control studies spanning from raw materials to finished products, we established a fully traceable internal control system based on the traditional preparation of classic formulas.“Overall Quality Attributes”Build a consistency evaluation platform centered on this objective, overcome key technical barriers in classical formula development, and conduct safety, primary efficacy, or systems biology evaluations to achieve precise clinical positioning. Ultimately, obtain manufacturing licenses or new drug certificates. Through this research, resolve core challenges hindering classical formula R&D, develop a series of guidance principles, accelerate the simplified registration process for classic formulas, and provide a demonstration model for their development.
